By accessing or using Auster ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

Auster provides quantitative research tools, including derivatives analytics, economic modeling, forecasting tools, and research publishing capabilities. These services are intended for informational and educational purposes only.

2. Use of the Platform

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Auster. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2.2 Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

• Use the Platform to distribute malware or engage in phishing

Auster offers paper trading (simulated trading) features. You acknowledge that:

• Paper trading uses simulated, not real, money and transactions
• Simulated results may not reflect actual market conditions or execution
• Paper trading performance does not guarantee real trading results
• Execution prices in paper trading may differ from live market prices

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Auster and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Platform (such as research, models, or analyses). By posting content, you grant Auster a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.

5.3 User-Generated Models

If you publish models or research through our marketplace, additional terms may apply regarding licensing, revenue sharing, and intellectual property rights.

6. Data and Third-Party Services

Auster aggregates data from various third-party sources including FRED, Census Bureau, and market data providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data. Use of such data is subject to the respective providers' terms of service.

7. Subscription and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled according to our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUSTER AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform
• Any investment or trading decisions made based on Platform content
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party conduct on the Platform

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auster, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
